Circus still a favourite

THE traditional circus might be under attack from animal welfare groups but erect a big top and the crowds will flock to it. The Lennon Brothers Circus rolled into town last week - big cats included - and circus fans turned out in force. Both of the Mollymook shows were sell-outs.
NO PLACE FOR A VAN PARK

A MEETING of Shoalhaven City Council’s Development Committee last week voted to recommend that council reject a proposed 75-lot caravan park at Manyana. Given the stakes – large investment dollars versus community opinion – the issue is an obvious test-case for a new council that has talked much of ‘community consultation’ and ‘appropriate development.’

ENGINES were revved while the kids laughed and clapped at Budawang’s Wheels for Wheels Day last week. Students at Budawang were treated to an afternoon of motors with motorbikes and classic cars on show.

Pistol Club host top quality comp

The Ulladulla Pistol Club hosted the New South Wales Black Powder Championships on November 8 and 9 and have been congratulated for the quality of the comp. Club secretary Josi Young helped organise and coordinate the event and was delighted with the top feedback received.
